What height should an intercom post be?

A car driver reaches an intercom comfortably at 1100 to 1200mm above the road surface. Where HGVs also use the entrance, specify a twin-height post with a second device at 1900mm so the driver does not have to leave the cab.

Will the aperture fit our access control hardware?

Send the make and model or a dimensioned drawing and we cut the aperture and fixing centres to suit before coating, so nothing is drilled on site. We can also machine for multiple devices, such as a reader, keypad and intercom in one post.
